“ Omg! I had a great experience dining here. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. Sara is always helpful and makes me feel like eating at home. The food is pretty tasty and has a good presentation. I have lived in Sichuan, China, for several years, so I can guarantee they will make it taste authentic. ”
“ As a Chengduese, I drove 2 hrs from NYC for the sweet water noodles. It reminds me of my childhood favorite flavor. The drinks are also very special and tasty. They have a very creative drink menu, definitely recommend to check! ”
“ The best sichuan food in town, highly recommended. We been here multiple times love the find the chicken in the chilies, fish slices with pickled vegetables and the sichuan pepper on braised beef. If you don’t like spicy you should try the braised beef with chickpeas, love it! ”
“ Sichuan Alley Bistro offers an authentic and vibrant dining experience that truly captures the essence of Sichuan cuisine. The highlight of our visit was without a doubt the beef soup—rich, deeply flavorful, and comforting. It’s a must-try dish that showcases the kitchen’s skill and attention to detail. The spice level was just right, offering warmth without overwhelming the palate, and the beef was incredibly tender. The overall ambiance of the bistro is warm and inviting, with decor that adds a nice cultural touch without feeling overdone. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food came out in a timely manner, fresh and hot. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the consistency in a couple of the side dishes—some felt a bit under-seasoned compared to the boldness of the main courses. Also, seating could feel slightly cramped during peak hours, so a little more spacing or better flow could enhance the comfort. That said, Sichuan Alley Bistro is absolutely worth a visit, especially for those looking to explore real Sichuan flavors. I’ll definitely be coming back—and recommending that beef soup to everyone. ”
“ Visited Sichaun Alley for lunch with my husband and we were both very impressed! Easily in the top 5 best Chinese restaurants we’ve been to in the state. Everything from the decor to the food was fantastic. The drinks were really creative too - you have to get the kung fu panda, which is topped with an adorable chocolate! I thought it was great that they had such a large portion of the menu dedicated to vegan and gluten free diners as well. The food came to our table quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. Adding this to our rotation of Chinese restaurants! ”
“ Very cute place and lovely cozy decor, but not where you'll bring a huge group. Small menu and small portions, but the flavor is not! The two noodle dishes we got were delicious. ”
“ My husband and I went there for our 4 year anniversary. The whole experience was awesome. I was amazed by how nice the place was decorated, good food, cute drinks. Highly recommend Sichuan peppercorn braised beef. We will definitely be back. ”
“ A hidden gem! We had dinner here on a Sunday evening and were thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, the service is both warm and efficient, and the food is absolutely delicious. We opted for a completely vegan meal and indulged in a variety of starters, which left us too full to even think about entrees. Here's what we ordered: Veggie Fried Dumplings: 5/5 Scallion Pancake: 5/5 Gummy Noodles: 4/5 Spring Roll: 4/5 Homemade Alley Ice Jelly: 3.5/5 Sweet Fermented Rice Balls: 3.5/5 Everything was incredibly flavorful, and we can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking delicious Chinese food. ”
